Sup guys. Guess I might as well introduce. Name is Matt, I own a 2k2 GTi 1.8T. All of my BT parts are sitting in my room waiting to be installed, hopefully within the next month or so. Here's a short list of everything:
-ATP T3 manifold. -Garrett T3 high perf 60. -Oil Feed + Return Lines. -Set of both 380cc injectors and 440cc injectors (depending on software used.) -ATP 3" Vband downpipe. -VR6 or ATP 3" MAF. -ATP Inlet or Don R Custom Inlet (haven't ordered that yet.) -Coolant Block off flange. etc...
Thx! -Matt

Hi, my name is Laurent and I have been addicted to VWs going on 25 years now. Beyond suspension and wheels my car is largely unmolested but plans are under way to get that rectified.

Hi, my name is Joe... And I work, in a button factory.
The bad news: I'm getting out of cars (of my own) and selling everything. It's been real, and it's been fun. Time to settle down and get out of automobiles and get into real estate. In the meantime, I'm driving a 35+mpg '94 Civic EX... and damn I'm lovin' it.
The good news: Once I get on my feet and start doing well in real estate, I shall return. I will once again have a VW one day, but not to go fast... just to be in the scene (it's where I belong). For speed, I will be going Toyota. I've been spending way too much time around the car (you know what kind) and I just can't get over them. My goals were to go 120mph traps on pump gas, and I just can't do that reliably and everyday in any VW. Looks like I'll be going RWD.
...I can't believe this is my first post here!

I'm Seven I'm an asshole. I used to have a 2003 GTI ... mild mods... stock turbo 201whp 263wtq I am picking up another MK4 (after about a year of being 1.8T-less) which has a few mods... it's a 2001 Jetta Wolfsburg. I'm planning on upgrading the turbo in the spring with it. I'm looking into engine management options... I got no pics of the new car, just the old one... On Stockies... One of my lame ass... I guess I'm a pic whore too...

I'm new to this site and this is my 4.5 GLI http://fatfreewater.com/car/mygli.jpgI took it to GMG the other day for: Apr Stg3+, 3" Exhaust, FMIC Clutch/Flywheel Custom LSD Gearbox for proper power laydown I'll see how I like it after that and fix all the cosmetic issues. If any of you are familiar with Brian Shima's ride you'll know what an amazing job they did on his GTI. Come to think of it, since they got cams working oh so well; bobqzzi and GMG should talk. I hope to find out how to write ECU software too with this site's help since I'm programmer. My goal/aim with my car is to get it as fast as possible while still being a reliable daily driver. Also going to build a carputer and hopefully I can get a 1/4 mile wireless range in the car.

Hey Everybody! I'm not really new to this forum, I've just got a new name. Most of you may know me by "NERallysport". I organized the group buy on the Evoheatshields, which a lot of you seem to have enjoyed so far. I've just made up a new name for myself..."NoNonsense" is what I use on most of the other forums. I thought I'd formally introduce myself with a pic of my car: It's not a dub, but it's family, right!? What you see in the picture is nothing really too special...a 1995 Audi 90 with some euro headlights, a moderate lowering, 5x112 hubs (converted from 4x108), Mille Miglia Cup 1 replicas, Euro A8 rotors and 996 calipers up front. Under the hood was the stock 2.8L 12v V6 engine without any modifications (other than the previous owner had decked the heads on a rebuild, so it had a little more grunt than it did from the factory). At any rate, this car is now in bits all over my shop, all over my basement, and unfortunately all over my porch right now, too. The suspenions will be modified by some ground control sleeves and eibach coils. The brakes are getting upgraded with larger 993tt rotor rings and custom Aluminum hats. The rear brakes are getting larger vented R32 rotors which need to be redrilled and Audi S4 rear calipers. Now for the engine...hopefully you guys can appreciate this one. I've got a 2.0L ABA block going together with an AEB head. The block is at the machine shop right now, while my pistons are on order, and Pauter rods are sitting on my desk. This will reduce a lot of the weight in front of the front axle, so hopefully the handling will be greatly improved as well. I'm on the fence about which turbo to run. I want something that will spool up quickly and be good for daily driving, so I was thinking a GT28RS with a .64 a/r. I've got a few people telling me to get the GT3071R with a .64 a/r. I'll play that by ear. Injectors and turbo will be the last items I purchase. Since the ABA block is transverse and I'm installing this to a Quattro drivetrain, it will be longitudinal. I have yet to get my hands on an AEB oil pan which bolts right up to the ABA and is necessary to clearn my front subframe. Let me know what you guys think!

Bone stock S4. today.
tomorow it will have:
GHL downpipes/exhaust
spec stage3 kevlar clutch
hybrid k04s with RS6 turbines and compressor sides, ported wastegate/turbine housing
RS4 SMIC's (backordered)
autospeed DTS
various bushings.
Once the breakin is complete ill ditch the stock ECU and fueling and be running a unitronic custom job.
440cc greentops at 4bar (about 510CC), stock airbox (modified) with a custom MAF housing on the lathe right now.
Should be an ok ride.
wow. flashback... I ended up sticking on an intake on that setup as the stock airbox blows chunks. This year, eibach prostreet-S coilovers (for the launch) and revolver race cams. Mikes gotten his dyno up now so it heads over there to clean up the street tune, kill the last of the test pipe 02 sensor codes, and tighten up the timing map to optimize it for the new cam profile.

Hello! I am writing from Poland. My car is '03 GTI with AUQ (european AWP equivalent) engine. I have Mitsubishi TD05H-16G turbocharger, custom exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe with hi-flow cat, 2,5" custom exhaust (2 silencers), 530cc Delphi injectors, TT225 MAF housing. Everything running under Unitronic (the first & original Unitronic Poland) software. My car dynoead at 330HP (crank) at just 1,1 bar boost.
At the moment my engine is being built (Wiseco's and Pauter's), I will put also Pipercams 244/274 degrees set of cams. Of course the boost will be cranked up to 1,7-1,8 bar. I do hope it will make around 400HP (crank).
