The info you posted earlier about the differences between the two types is accurate.  No need to apologize, we're all still learning, none of us are experts here.   Cool

As of this evening I may be a little nervous about the bolts... I had a newer at least 2003 or up A4 1.8T cruise up on my ass, he could have passed me I was in the left lane but he decided to ride me for what ever reason so I moved over to the right and he moved up, so I figured I would give him a little taste of his own medicine and I flew up on his ass- he punched it and I just kept up with him it was pretty cool he couldnt shake me for anything I looked down and I was on his ass doing 110, I could have passed him but I really dont push my car that much so I backed off and let him go. This was my first encounter with another car of a similar caliber and it felt good to know I will be able to hang if needed. The 2.8 really moves out in top end speeds- Maybe I'll get chipped?! I will just have to remember about the spacer bolts in the future when I put them on.

Derrrrrr Im retarded late at night. Not bolts I meant "studs". I am refering to what Merry posted, about the stress. But wait- arent the studs that they were taking about in his post the studs that stick out from the spacer, like when you use the spacer as an adapter? The only thing holding my spacers on will be the extended bolts I bought?? Im losing it sorry.

all good man.

yes, the longer bolts will be holding your spacers and wheels on. no need to worry about them.
