Now that I have your attention:

Very Happy HI ALL  Very Happy

First post. Making the trek over here from CB5 like others. Checking it out, hoping to become involved. One of these days I'll ge pictures up. New here, not to VW's or wrenching. First car and VW was a 67' bug with 1835, dual 40's and Fiberglass flip front. Since then, been racking up VW's all my life, one way or another. Got 2 now: 83 MK1 Rabbit GTi and 98.5 B5 Variant.

Also into old Datsun Trucks. Currently have 72 521 & 65 NL320.

GTG today in Pleasanton. Supposed to be BIG! I'm there.

Looking for a MK1 GTi with EXCELLENT body, mechanicals / interior do not matter.

I know of a sweet corrado that's on sale around my ways...but haven't seen an Mk on sale.

I'll keep an eye out for a MK1....

there's a meet in p-town this weekend???????? dannnnnng I wish I were home.  I'm going back to work June 14th till Aug right around the corner from In and Out in Pleasanton so I'm totally THERE for gtg's this summer! woo hoo! have fun and post up pics! I'm sure wintson is gonna be there hahaha
