I'm not sure what's available for the transverse 1.8T, I'd stay with a full face OEM disk with an upgraded pressure plate.

Good god.  That ECS Stage III kit is ridiculous.

I paid $400 for my kit on my Nissan, and it holds almost 700+ ft-lbs.

Here, get this:

ACT (Advanced Clutch Technology)
VR1-HDOO
SKU: 83705500832

This kit includes these components:
VW-010 - Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
VWSD010 - Street Disc
RB803 - Release Bearing
AT96 - Alignment Tool
Torque Capacity: 340 ft/lbs.

how many miles are on your stock one? that one should be good. i know people running t3/t4's with 300whp+ running the our stock clutch with good results. i haven't really paid any attention to what others are putting in our 6 speeds.
