Ok so here is the thing my car started losing power big time. Not holding boost it spools to about a 14  or 15 psi spike then it goes down to about 5psi and continues to drop.
I did get my CEL scanned and all the car was showing was P420. The Mechanic reset it to see if it would boost normally initially then return in a few days.

I heard a bad ignition module my be the cause , ANy ideas on this?

Please help point me in the right direction it so frustrating driving in something that can bearly get to 60 in 10 seconds. argh

It could be a great number of things that can cause limp mode.  It will take some looking at and diagnosing.  Unfortunately, you prob can't get an answer from a forum, it will take a mechanic looking at the actual car.

By the way; P0420: Catalyst System,Bank1 Efficiency Below Threshold. Which will not have anything to do with limp mode.

I'm willing to bet that it was code P0240, not 0420.

P0240 Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance; P0241 Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit Low; P0242 Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit High

If your boost is too high the car will go into limp mode to save the engine.  You must diagnose to see why you either had too much boost OR why your sensor is reading too much boost.

I have the exact same situation. I am driving a Volkswagen Polo and recently I started noticing a decline in the power. I am not sure as to why that is the case but I do think that the power has drastically reduced. The acceleration is a joke and especially when trying to overtake another vehicle. After the CEL scanning, the mechanics said it was OK and all I needed to do was service the car. I did so and after I got the car, no change! Someone please help!
