Hi all, please help me!
I am lost and close to stripping my car and selling it for parts as I cant get this thing to run right!!
I have done logs of my knock voltages, they go soo high and the ecu is pulling timing allready so seems I have no room for more timing but my engine spec should be capable of more...
SPEC:
JE pistons 81.5mm - 9:25:1 cr
AEB head stage 3 port polish
Bosch platinum F5PDOR plugs
siemens 630cc injectors - 4bar fpr
Tesco super unleaded 99octance fuel
GT3076R - 1.8bar boost
r32 TB - RMR manifold
Forge FMIC
I tried to loosen the knock sensors incase they were too tight but no joy there if anything I'm seeing more higher voltages now!
I got the car mapped and the fuelling and boost was set, rev limit, tb scalling etc etc but they couldnt play with the timing because my knock voltages were soo high, so i took the car back changed to sputter bearings and replaced the flywheel/clutch setup.. still no joy!
Is it the case of adding a iron washer inbetween the knock sensors as the ECU is only pulling 6 degrees back even with 29.8volts.
Please help, could me plugs be bad or just the engine is too high compression and i need to lower the boost?
The car needs to go back for tweaking as when at 3/4 throttle @4k building boost gradually, then all of a sudden the TB cuts out and I get a 'maximum torque limit exceeded fault code'..
seems the maf maxing out at 317.08 also..
