01 1.8T engine tick at idle

01 Audi 1.8T engine tick/knocking. OBDII came up with P0011 (P0011 calls Bank 1 (intake camshaft) as over-advanced). I replaced the camshaft sensor; did nothing whatsoever. I have read around and some people think this problem could be the timing chain . Anybody have similar problems?

After you replaced the sensor, did you disconnect the battery overnight?  That will reset the ECU and give it a chance to readapt. 

Also, how many miles do you have?
