hi, i have a 2000 1.8 jetta im having trouble on flats, and up hill it gets around 200 rpm and it starts stumbling till i let off, then i throtle very slowly and it will eventuly get up to speed. it has 129,000, belt was changed at 82,000. i travel 108 miles a day to and from work, love the car gas mil. is great. please help. thank you. kevin

Manual trans or auto? Have you checked coil packs? Can you rev in neutral w/ no problem? Could be anything from coils to TPS to needing a TBA. Can you supply any more information??
