
There is finally a working 2 step / full throttle shift module for OEM ECU, and it's fairly cheap too! We will be stocking them when we return from vacation on the 20th, unfortunately there won't be anyone here to receive the shipment of them until then.
This box is made by NP Complete Performance, and works by reading the rpm signal from a fuel injector, and then interrupting the power going to the coils to create an ignition cut. It is wired into the throttle pedal and the clutch switch so it operates without any extra switches or buttons to bother you with. The throttle body DOES NOT CLOSE, and our old school unitronics software doesn't go into limp mode.
Pardon the extra lights on the dashboard, we had the MAF unplugged while troubleshooting this. You WILL get a check engine light though from the misfires.
This should finally mean some easy to launch, consistant mk4's running on stock ecu. (B4 A4, MK5 applications coming soon)
