Need some help on a 1.8 Setting Codes p0134 & p0140 98 Passat

I have a 98 Passat with 1.8 turbo, throwing 2 codes at the same time - basically no activity on both o2 sensors, replaced the cat and o2 before the cat - same problem, traced the wires up to the ECU, everything looks fine. Using a Genisys OTC in generic OB2 mode.

Car runs mint, and this has me stumped.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are they getting 12v? Have you actually tested them to see if they are measuring oxygen levels? Sometimes the ecu can be wrong if it is fried internally. The 02 sensors may be fine, but the ecu could be reporting faulty info. I have seen this happen a few times before.

I would go for that as well ,,,test them and see ,just one question any changes made to your car
