I know on vortex I can find a good amount of cold start problem threads and most tell you the usual ... Plugs , Green top sensor , maf , Coils

Well after installing the green top coolant sensor with no change in my cold start problems I have only 2 other things left to try ....  Coil packs or its the 440s I have installed cause I read alot of people with 440s are having same problem .

my new vagcom hardware is in the mail so im waiting on that to check it with the laptop but depending on what the vagcom says should i try and swap out my coils or just bite the bullet and get rid of my 440s? just didnt know if any others on here are having this problem also ....trust alot more opinions over here from people icon_driving

Im pumped my dub's back runnin but this damn cold start problem is gona kill me  hyper

Hmm, its been awhile. But I had cold start issues when I had 440's. IIRC, I had to adjust the fuel pressure to fix it. Let me think about this more. Or maybe Don can remember what we did.....What fuel pressure regulator you running?

a good friend of mine had crappy cold starts and crappy idle on bosch 440s and revo3.

it got a lot better when he changed to uni and 630s.  i think the injectors were more of the issue than the software, tho.
