I've always been frustrated by the unavailabilty of good valve guides for the 1.8T.  99% of the aftermarket guides are too large on the OD which makes fitting difficult- it is possible to force them in, but the very tight press fit means the ID of the guide is distorted.

QED commissioned SuperTech to produce a guide to my specs which fits properly.  In addition, they are made from the superior material manganese bronze which transfers heat better and is more wear resistant. I purchased a very large quantity so the price is very reasonable.
