Is it correct that AWP short block can be swaped for AMB (Audi A4 1.8T) manual short block? Can the AMB oil pan be used on AWP? Are the motor mount hole locations the same? Any other differences that will be make the swap impossible?

It is a straight swap and you end up with a forged crank too.

Thanks bob, is the same true for AWV short block also? meaning straight swap for AMB bottom end.  Thanks

All 06A blocks are compatible except the AWM
