Has anybody seen or used these coils on a BT 1.8? (see link below)
Are they any good and do they help with misfires?

No opinions? I've always felt that the coils were one of the weakest links in the 1.8T. Even with the newer Hitachi coils. $550.00+ seems like a lot of $$. Would they be worth the dough?

Is there an 034 guy on this site?

I would be interested in throwing these coils on the dyno on my 2.7T (400~awhp stage3+)

And ill be willing to bet the boys at VAG would be interested in trying them out on their built twin GT28 car and do some high boost runs on them.

I was wondering too, how do you have access to them? Are you a retail outlet or wholesale. As a retailer myself at a new car dealer, (Ford) wholsale would make them much more enticing!

It would be nice to put them to the test on a dyno. I'd be willing to do this if they were available for trials.

i just sell parts as a retailer... i could see if the price would come down but on this kind of part, i dont see much profit margin to be played with... as far as the 2.7t stuff, ive been looking at the twin gt cars lately, so much stuff happening in the last two months... mike hood was telling me all about them, its cool to here firsthand feedback  icon_driving

They look like LS1 coils.  DIY for way the hell less.  Why not just run the bolt down hitachis or berus? they're good for a lot of power...
