So I am getting a rebuilt tranny with a Peloquin in it and I'd like to know one thing.  What tranny/r&p is best suited to the BT 1.8T powerband.  I'm looking for the best quarter mile gearing I can get.  The guy who'd doing the rebuild has an EHA tranny w/ 3.6r&p and also has one with CCM gearing + a 3.389r&p.  I can pretty much mix-n-match but I'm just not sure what will work best.

Well.. The best box for drag should be the one you have to shift the least to do the 1/4 mile..

question , are you only using the car for 1/4 mile

Jetta with GT28 I would g for O2M stock , (many other things will improve the time , what you want to do is one of the last )
