I was putzing around and saw something in the vortex fabrication forum about how to gain more power on NA cars..

One thing people seemed to like was notching their squish area like this guy describes:
http://somender-singh.com/content/view/7/49

Has this been done on a 20v 4cyl?  Is there even enough room in the squish area on a 20v to really make a difference on a uber-boosted car?

Would you add this to your back-to-back dyno comparison Bob Razz

edit: spelled grooving correctly Razz

One thing that would concern me having these grooves is pre-ignition. The grooves feature sharp edges which would be 1st to get hot and retain heat.

yea.. but the site also says that the grooves help eliminate standing heat waves.. so I dunno if they would equal out in the end..

<= not a thermodynamcis or fluids guy..

While this mod sounds interesting, it's not one of those that can be fixed easily if it doesn't work out..
