I would stay away from anything that ATP welds. They have serious quality problems.
cast manifold looks good though.

I always browse but I never registerd. My golfmkv name is Turbo GTI. I want to do a BT application but I dont have the coinage to spend. This kit seems inexpensive when compare to APR/VF and there is obviously a reason why. I just don't know if that reason could be bad for the car.

Oh cool! I'm in the same boat as you. This kit is ALOT cheaper. I know the quiality on the DP is questionable. But you can always have it beefed up before the install? This ATP kit doesn't include fueling. That will add some cost, but I still don't think it will be as much as the APR/ VF kits....

My only problem with this kit is that it's so cheap that it's scary. I like the fact that they are using a GT30 instead of the GT28 but I really don't trust ATP as much as I would trust VF. I said this in Golfmkv but I'll say it here. I have a feeling that the best thing about this kit could be the manifold. That's the one thing that has kept people from doing custom builds. When you figure in the fact that you have to source your own fueling and software with the ATP kit it comes close to the RSS kit from VF and when it comes down to saving only a couple of hundred to $1000 I will go with VF anyday.

I definitely hear ya. I would trust VF any day as well. APR is just too much for me. Maybe I can get Ed from force fed to do a custom setup some day..... ahhh

I have GIAC right now. Not a bad software by any means but I'm starting to like the fact that Unitronics can achieve the same amount of power as the others with less boost. I wouldn't mind going to forcefed for anything because I hear such great things about them.

I have never heard anyone complain about GIAC. If I didn't know the guys at Uni, I would def go with them.
forcefed is awesome. Ed knows how to take care of his customers. Plus he's very knowledgeable and can build anything you want. Its worth the 4 hr drive me for to have them work on anything custom and to get my flash updates. Are you local to them (forcefed)?

I live in the Bronx so it's not that far of a drive. I'm not really complaining about GIAC it's just that with the boost that they run I am getting some horrible fuel cuts right now. I think I read somewhere that if boost is too hight that's when people get fuel cuts. IDK... I have to look it up some more.

OH no, I didn't take it that you were complaining. I was just saying I haven't heard anything bad about GIAC is all. Yup, I guess fuel cuts suck. Glad Uni doesn't have that issue Your a lot closer to forcefed then I am. Lucky bastid

So far the only thing on the market regarding fueling will be either APR/AT or VF (when they decide to sell theirs seperate from the BT kit) fuel pump. The FP is only part of the problem tho. The stock injectors are the second limiting factor to our cars. The only other injectors available for our car is the S3 injectors but those cannot be bought in the US and I think they are $200 a piece.

We are using APR's FP and now with their new rebuild upgrade program it makes it all the better and more affordable.
The S3 injectors will not be large enough to support a GT30R turbo and over 400whp.

Let us know when you source suitable injectors for this application.. With a GT30 you should be hitting more than 400hp because the VF RS/R has hit those numbers.
