Got my jetta chipped...and we got some issues!

Ok so i got my ECU back Friday couldnt wait to get it in take it for a drive. So i got it in everything good to get waited just over 2 mins before i started it and it started perfect! buuut thats when the trouble just began!

So as i get out to listin to it idle as it goes to idle down it starts spuddering/missfiring so it idles back up kept doing that finaly it idled down still idled like crap but not terrable enough for me to worry yet.

So i took it down the road just got into the boost and it sounded nice i may add! Buuut just as that happend it started missfireing spudderng shaking so i let up get back up to about 50 droped it into 4th gave it a little gas and the same thing only this time the engine light came on started flashing and it was basicly down hill from there even just driving it back home was rough CEL flashing and shaking really bad reminded me of that time my coil went out but its not that because it will run fine if u give it a little gas maybe around 2k.

So i talked to the guys at inmotion tuning and he says it could be a few things: Throttlebody needs alignment. or some boost hoses or vaccum hoses fell of with incresed boost has anyone else had this problem cuz now im kinda carless, and i cant drive to the vw dealer to get the codes checked?


Hes sending me a Obd cable and some software so i should be able to check somthing out but jut tryin to get some information because im newb to this hole thing!

I had the same issue before I got chipped.  Dealer told me it was a clogged cat and replaced it under warranty.

sounds like coilpack has expired under the extra duty.

thanks ffor the input! Yeah it was 2 coils went bad! glad it was somthing simple! but still i was flippin nuggets!
Guy from inmotion was helpfull and didnt leave me hangin so that was cool
