There was a small turnout for this event which was great for the drivers. I'm normally in novice class (this was only my second time on the track & first at Limerock) but, due to low numbers they mixed us with intermediate 1. In my group were: 2 Zo6's, Cayman S, Lotus Elise, BMW M5, 2 911's, and 2 Miatas.
The car managed to go around the track very close to the Z 06's in terms of lap times, that was until the tires & brakes faded away. Towards the end of the session we didn't have much tire left (it didn't help to be the only car running non-R compounds.)
I'm looking forward to getting back out there on some better tires & higher temp brake fluid. If any of you are on the fence about these type of events, all I can say is DO IT! There are tons of fun.
