First off Hello All,

Been reading some very informative threads on this forum. Keep up the good work.

The question: Can I get an A4 AEB engine from the wreckers and fit an 02J gearbox to it so I can mount it transversely?

I'm new to the 1.8 20v VAG scene so i'm not to sure. I've also read about different cranks being used depending on auto or manual (longitudinal only).

Any help appreciated.

Woz Very Happy

welcome.

i know of people running an AEB motor in transverse form. so i don't see why it wouldn't work.
