Heres a list of everything taken care of/being taken care of so car since the motor was pulled:

Heads rebuilt, all new lifters, couple new valves, and two redone exhaust valve guides (were leaking oil onto the turbo)

Dropping compression half a point with an RS4 metal head gasket.

Pistons inspected and decarboned after two valves were bounced off them during the cam reinstall. 100%, even with that problem i had with the bad fuel pump and AFR going mega lean, not a sign of pitting, pre-ignition, nothing. They look like new. Right down to the original part numbers etched on the face.

Turbos are at CherryTurbos and both are fine, but one could use a new thrust bearing to make it 100% again so thats being done.

Putting new flex sections on the downpipes as they got hammered a bit from the bad engine mounts so the metal braiding inside one is loosened up.

All new seals, o-rings, etc

New pcv check valves, and a slight redesign of the vacuum system to add an additional checkvalve on the PCV pickup. As well as eliminating the F hose. Still using the 00-01 spider hose setup on my 01-02 manifold.

Clutch inspected, its fine

All new poly/aluminum engine mounts (RS4 units were blown), rear diff moutns.

Complete pressure test, including the IC's all fine.

New front brake rotors, pads are already practically new... rear rotors were done last summer.

Aside from all the mounts, we put in a rear sway upgrade as well, including subframe braces.

Missing anything obvious? I dont plan on going through all this again so I want to cover everything.

Install better rods.   icon_thumbup  Water pump, oil pump, thermostat?   Like you said, do everything you can now.  Possible inspect oil feed and drains though I'm sure they're fine.  Not too familiar with 2.7TT's.  lol
