My car is a 2003 GTi I have busted one of these ;/ Does anyone know if there is some kind of upgrade for this part? Also does anyone know the part number?

Dieselgeek.com makes a great short shifter kit that includes this part.  Its good stuff.  I run it and am happy.

Thanks man! icon_thumbup but I replaced my HPA SS with the Dieselgeek SS after the new cable catcher decided to bust after a week:(

i made steel billet ends for mine.. those look like threads but they aint.
grub screwed on and been perfect since.

i used to run with a quaife dog box and these broke all the time such was the force req'd to change gear
