I had the worst experience with E.I.P. Tuning.  They are by far the worst tuning company I’ve ever dealt with.  Around July 24th or so, I ordered by phone from eip a stage 2 competition clutch, light weight aluminum flywheel, and a peliquin differential (to the tune of $1600).  After like two weeks I started to wonder where the hell my parts were.  I called.  They said something about my pressure plate was being made and it would go out at the end of the week.  Ok, no problem.  A week came and went.  I called again.  Same crap.  This developed into a pattern.  Every other week I would call to see the status of my order.  They would always have some excuse as to what was going on.  And every time I called I waited and waited, being bounced around on hold and ended up talking to like 12 people.  Finally sometime in late August or September, I learned that the real problem was that my diff was back ordered.  So that became the excuse.  The pattern continued.  Now, I have no problem with back orders and slow production.  I’m pretty patient.  My real problem with all this is that I never got a simple e-mail or phone call about the status of anything (and I know for a fact they have all my info on file).  I just expect more for $1600.  I’ve been treated far better by tuning companies that I’ve spent a lot less with.  But the story continues.  Finally I called on Oct 9th (a Monday).  They said that my diff was in and that my package would go out the next day.  I thought, ‘Sweet, it will be here just in time for fall break and I can put this stuff in.’  Fall break came and went.  No parts.  I called on oct 17th.  They said my diff had not come in yet.  Bull shit, you guys told me a week ago that my diff was in!  After talking to 12 people and waiting on hold.  They fixed what ever they f*ed up and I got my parts on like the 20th.  The story does not end here.  I find out that they charged my account twice.  I called.  They said that first was a “test” to see if I had the funds and was not a charge.  I contacted my financial institution and they verified that there were in fact two charges and I flagged one as a dispute.  What the hell is wrong with these people?  They’re a bunch of damn monkeys running a tuning shop.  Hopefully their parts are way better than their service.  But of course, they did not include an alignment tool with their clutch kit like every body else in the world does.  I hope the story ends here and does not continue with anymore bull or that the parts perform crappy.  Sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings but I am sold on never dealing with EIP again.  Anyone else have anything to say about EIP?

They like to watch the forums for people to find little DIY mods using OEM parts from different models, then selling them as a product.

Case in point the "EIP" short shifter, was the audi TT part, painted blue, with the part number scratched off.

Another: someone figured out they could pack the stock rear torque damper with a filler plate to reduce engine movement, yet still retain stock like comfort. Week or two later they were selling thier "completly made from scratch yet looking suspiciously like a stock engine mount: performance mounts"

Wow.  Since I started posting this on forums and facebook groups, people are coming out of the wood work about their crappy experiences with EIP.
