By the time you decide to upgrade to a REALLY BIG TURBO, there would be someone with even BIGGER TURBO which really makes your BIG TURBO look like really small turbo. - Igo®

There are several models out there. I have run an R32 FSI pump supposedly high output and it was the same as the B pump, maybe 30 cc's/min more @ 3000 ERPM nothing to get excited about. This is on an engien with much higher HP ratin as well. Most of these part number changes I have seen just have different features. Adding a bleed down valve, or an inlet pressure sensor port etc etc.
Easiest way to tell is to measure the piston. Stock piston = 8mm find a bigger piston and you get more flow.
Just 1 mm on the piston diameter = 26% more delivery.
Also do not forget the potential for a higher lift camshaft.
Changing from a 3 lobe 5 mm cam to a 3 lobe 6 m cam = ~ 20% more output from the pump.
These increases may not seem like much, but the deficit is mainly in the low RPM range. It's just to get past the torque issues. The bigger turbo with a shifted curve will follow the fuel delivery curve nicely.
Some companies have made BT's with the stock pump, they just have an oddly shaped curve with less low end torque than you would expect. Stock pump is 300 whp capable.

well, it seems the hp isn't the problem, its the tq.
well i definitely don't want to get into cams and i'm definitely not gonna go BT for a few yrs unless i hit the lottery or something. lol
So, we needs to find a bigger piston fuel pump? i guess...
