After putting in a single-mass flywheel, a clutch disc with no springs in it, and a VF Eng poly trans mount, I noticed a good bit more noise coming from my 02J.  Is this normal?  The noise is like a rattling that is RPM dependent and stops when I push in the clutch.  Thanks.

this noise is normal however you will need to watch out for wear on input shaft as unsprung friction plates will stress shaft alot quicker than sprung items.

same thing after i had my lsd installed.

in 1st gear, gradually letting the clutch out, there's a sound of loose marbles that subsides as the clutch engages.
sometimes i can hear it when shifting into other gears, but only when i'm really taking my time...driving like a granny.
usually with my daughter in the car.

it's embarassing in the drive thru.  if it were an aftermarket system with lw flywheel, etc, i wouldn't think anything of it, but my clutch/fw are stock and never used to sound like it does now.   argh
