driving the car to work - icon_driving
really getting into it - Twisted Evil
shifting to 3rd & hearing it blow up - ahhh
limping to the shop -  argh

surprised you coudl drive it, mine always locked up pretty bad when I killed a gear.

02M has 2 output shafts 2 final drives, wider gears, and gears with closer diameters for lower tooth loads.



O2M also uses proper brass shift forks rather than cheezy pivot arms like the O2J. You get better shift feel and more precise shifting.



also the ring gear/pinion gears are wider than an 02J's.



and the clutch is 240 mm for better torque capacity. and the oem driveshafts are very strong by comparison to the stock 02j. ball and cage stly joints opposed to tri lobe junk in the o2J

What is different on the 4motion/Quattro 02m and the fwd version?

I know I have asked it ,and I know it’s not the correct forum but what different clutch setups can one use for high hp applications
