Anyone know any info on the 02Q out of the Mk5's?  Wondering about it's compatability with other VW 4 cyl blocks obvoiusly.

Eh, was more just curious.  I know APT has 02M gears coming, and HPA sells the uber pricey Euro TDI finals.  Just curious if there are interchangeable gears with the 02M, etc.  I flatfoot shifted the 02M last night from 3rd to 4th at redline, not a grind, gripe, or complaint.   afro  But the gearing I'd like to play with a little if possible when the LSD goes in.

There are several different 02m boxes out there, i have a spreadsheet at work with all the ratios. R32, VR6, , 225TTQ, TDI you can build a real frankentranny if you want, but the money adds up quick.

send me an e-mail    baltruckij@netscape.net and i will send you my tranny spreadsheet. calculates, and graphs MPH in gears and MPH drop @ 7200 rpm shift.
