Diesel fifth gear

Would an 06 tdi fifth gear fit an o2j tranny? If not which diesel fifth should I use and where can I get one?.

yes, it think its a .717 ratio. do a search on the tex and youll find out alot more.  but enginered should have some input. i need to do this also cuz at 80 im at 4100rpms.

Yes TDI 5th's will fit, you can even install with the trans in the car if you want.

not to steal but ill be taken off my transmission this week and is it easy to intall the bigger gear? and is there anything else i would need besides the gear?

Lower cruising rpms in top gear and better gas mileage.
