well when i took out my engine everything for the "clutch" worked fine, then when i go to drive the clutch does not engage, and barely engages untill the im all the way off the clutch petal.  ive bleed it multiple times and even put a new clutch slave clyinder in and still the same thing.  ill try and bleed it more tomorrow, but anybody have any ideas?

I know I had to bleed it a ton. Try bleeding it some more.

ok just to make sure im doing it right, open the bleeder - push in petal - close bleeder - pull out petal?......

If you have air in the system it usually causes problems disengaging the clutch, where you need to put it to the floor to get it to open up. If it's disengaging right near the top perhaps you had some air in there before and now it's clear. I had a bunch of useless travel on my clutch pedal, so i added a stop on it.

+ with the clutch fully out i cant even make it up the drive way  huh well im going get some more dot 4 fill it up and start bleeding the hell out of it.

well it still does not work.  the clutch will not engage fully, now do u think it could be something else, like the pressure plate or something internal?

The lever arm in the tranny may be installed incorectly and is causing preload all the time. When you put the tranny on did it sit flush with the block, or did you have to tighten the bolts to get it to sit on the block.

A good check would be to pull the slave out and check to see that there is no preload on the arm.

ok ill take the slave clyinder out again and check.  but everything was working when the engine was out, and now its not.  i did not install the tranny i bought it with the peliquin and stage 1 clutch in there.

ok so nothing else has worked then i guess i have to take the trans off and look inside.  in the bently on 30-9 im guessing thats what i have to do.  the relese bearing must be messed up. so anybody have any pointers?
