Doing a long term (probably a year or so) 2.0L build and wanted to know what everyone thinks of the plan so far. I'm hoping for 400+ whp on a 2000 A4 quattro. I'm also swapping the ATW for an AEB. I'd like to keep it somewhat daily driveable, which is why I didn't go for a GT35.

Wiseco 83mm 8.5:1 pistons
Scat Rods 144mm
Forged ABA crank
QED Stage 2 Cylinder Head Upgrade
034 EFI Stage 1c
Innovate XD-16 wideband
GT3076R .82 A/R
Boost Factory custom manifold

I have no clue about cams and would like someone's input. Thanks.

Do you mean bore and stroke it to 2.0 liters of displacement?

IMO the 8.5:1 compression is a bit low. I would go 9:1 if you mostly want to run pump gas, 9.5:1 for a bit of both, and ~10:1 if you plan on mostly running race fuel.

The one good thing is the 8.5:1 will be a lot more forgiving to tuning mistakes then say a 10:1 setup.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking about going to a 9.0:1.
