I would like to ask what parts have to be changed to convert from hydraulic to solid lifters setup. Another question is how solid lifter setup works in daily driven car?

Required parts:
20 Solid lifter buckets
20 Lash Caps
Set of solid lifter cams
Set of valve springs

Earlier VWs came with solid lifters(up to about 1984) and they were pretty trouble free; requiring adjustment about once a year  However, they were shim over bucket and special tools allowed them to be adjusted very quickly- there were also only 8 valves.

The 20V uses shims under buckets so changing the lash cap requires removal of the cams.  This is quite time consuming.

With improvements in materials and coatings on modern parts I imagine that the maintenance period could be reduced significantly.

A DLC coated tappett would wear very litty against a nitrided cam.
Hell my fathers 83 rabbit only gets an adjustment every 40K

What valve springs? are they using the same ~$240 ish set of cat valve springs you would buy if you are doing just a hot cam / hydro lift setup, or is there a special solid lifter high rate spring or something along those lines.

Another questions:
 - will USRT heavy duty valve spring work with solid lifters setup well?
 - how much are (and WTB them) solid lifter buckets and lash caps?
 - will VW OE valves work with solid lifter setup (in engine reved to 9000RPM)?

And one off topic question - what OE big port intake manifold are you selling? European AGU part number last letter is K, I can get for ~$250 here in Poland but I am not sure if it the same you are selling (I saw letter P on photos on your site).

I don't know which springs USRT is selling, so I can't say.  If they are Eurpspec springs, then no.
A set of 20 lifter buckets is $899.00
Lash caps are $6.79 each

It is the Eurpean AGU one- I imported them from Europe, so the cost reflects that
