Hi!!

I am going to build a GT3071R setup ( .86 A/R) + 630cc inj  at a small port VVT  1.8T  engine.

Do you thing I could use the 3658 while keeping my VVT on??? Whould I face any rough idel issues??

Or should I stick to the 3651s  + VVT (but less power..  perhaps )

Thanks!!

I suggest the 3651's unless Bob recommends otherwise. You can use the 3651's with the VVT 3658's no however you'd have to revise your mapping to accomodate the VVT delete.

I see...

Any experience... with possible issues of increased emmisions @ idle,  when deleting the VVT ??
My purpose is to build a street legal - and fast enough- car..

Ih someone deletes the VVT from the ECU , and of course has a nice quality cat on  , what happens @ idle & cruising ??

I have passed emissions with the 3651's at idle and at cruise @ 2200 rpm. The VVT delete will not affect emission requirements nor will it affect the cat.
