Jim, I may end up getting one if you can make another one or if you can utilize my in-tank Walbro unit.

I have an audi TT pump with my APR kit. Same thing as a stock pump with more flow. Running at the track there are some super long right hand corners at poconos, and your WOT for much of it. The fuel runs to drivers side of the tank and you suck down the sump and suck air. I was considering putting something in the tank on the drivers side to make my tank smaller so it can't do that.

Sorry to say, but the set up will not exceed the factory limitations.

Nice break down, really shows te funky shape with way too much room on the drivers side. Can fit the whole 1/4 tank over there in a high banked corner. Any chance of installing a molded bag in the drivers side that would prevent all the fuel from running to that side? I was thinking fuel cell foam inside a bag, and stuff it in there. Tae up a maybe 3 gallons worth of volume and retain most of it near the sump.

i also got a hold of some venturi jet pumps from a corvette. i was going to install one on that side, however they pose too much backpressure on the return line, and will mess up my fuel pressure.

What about running something like this...

something like a swirl pot or extra pick-up reservior. I think there is enough room to make a vertical type one and have it mounted on the Golf just aft the tank and behind the strut...4" SQ X 6" or 8" long with a fuel pump strapped/clamped to it.

DonR recomendation is what I would do. But you may need to work out the length of time you are in that corner and the amount of fuel that you will use, and build the tank to match(with some excess)
