Okay, no smart remarks about putting the engine in a car.

93 octane, 18psi.  Good air today.  I planned on using my in cylinder pressure sensing equipment to tune the knock sensors and see how much more boost/timing I could run on pump gas, but it has some sort of software problem, which I hope to fix Monday.

engine dyno?

nice way to dial in a car for sure. No undue strain on the driveline for no reason.

although seeing the wheel numbers with an exhaust bolted on is probably gonna break your heart. Very Happy

I actually did test it with a cat and muffler. Less than 20hp loss

Wondering. Might be a hell of an opertunity to bolt on a 2.5 inch system for shits and giggles and see what the difference is.

Actually, I tested 3" open downpipe, 3" downpipe to 2.5" open tailpipe (no difference) 3" downpipe to 3" cat -small diff down low, none at the top, and finally 3" downpipe to 3" cat to 2.5' exhaust with 2.5" Borla muffler. Cost 20HP.

I did this last year, if you search Vortex you cna see at least some of the results.

How is that S4 coming?

Didnt like the lack of top end, even with the hybrid k04s.

Putting some cams in over the winter. Then it goes to live with unitronic for a while.

Ever consider going to a single larger turbo?  30R with 1.06 A/R?  35/40 R with .82 turbine...seems like it would make packaging easier.
