I created this vagcom locator map a little while ago because before I got my vagcom, I was using the Steve Hall list to find folks willing to help me out. What I ran into where lots of people in my area that either no longer had the tool, or wanted as much as some shops to do a scan. Seemed to me that lots of the info on the Steve Hall list wasn't as up to date as I needed.
So I created
www.frappr.com/vagcomlocator and to date we've got over 50 people who've said that they have a vagcom and are willing to help for either no fee or something small like buying them a beer.
