Best part is, he went home to put on his slicks for me.

 Not drag radials, slicks.

Got me once when i spun out 1st gear (thank you michelin crapilots) and bounced the revlimiter, while wheelhopping and bogging 2nd gear. By about two cars with me slowly reeling him in.

 Had to listen to him trash talk for half an hour while he "let his clutch cool" then we ran again.

Second run matched his launch (STILL FUCKING SPINNING) got him by a car.

 He wasnt as mouthy after that.



 God I gotta get tires, and decent suspension.

they are both great kits, so you'd be pleased either way!
winter projects are good!  I'm building a 2.0t (ABA block with AEB head) and putting it into an old school quattro car...it should be fun (and a lot lighter than it was before!).
