anyone have any ideas where to hook in for vaccum?

are 1.8t data logging blocks the same for a vr6t on the vagcom?

To the vacuum line from fuel pressure Regulator (valve) with T fitting.

The 1.8T measuring blocks will not necessarily be the same.  If you're using VAG-COM to read measuring blocks, look in the top left corner to see if there is a hyperlink for whats called a label file.  It will be something to the effect of 06A.906.032.lbl, click it, it will tell you what each of the measuring blocks for your ECU mean in relatively straight forward english.
