OEM Mud guards suck. I just pulled my wheel well liners to replace them, and found 4 lbs of dirt/mud packed in behind my mud guard. The design of the liner/guad traps dirt and mositure in there. This will rot out the car quickly. Im going to be drilling some drain holes in the plastic when I put it all back together. here is a pic

You guys should take a look at yours. I only had these on for a little over a year to collect this, adn i never drove in the winter time

Yup.

Look on the front ones, that little divot on the mudguarrds that sort of goes between the frame rail and fender? That will carve out a little hunk of paint over time. Then it rusts.

Impossible to fix properly if it gets bad enough. I recommend slicing that little nub right off before installing them.

And putting silicone tape on the painted surfaces to protect it from the mudflaps rubbing against it.

ahhh   just tryign to share. I ended up cutting a little out of the fender well, and drilling a hole in the mud flap for drainage.
